Dr. Gboyega Osinbowale

Dr. Osinbowale studied medicine in the early 70s at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, is currently a private physician in Ohio State. He has practiced medicine in Nigeria and the United States.

He was the President/Medical Director of a multi-specialty medical group of internists, pediatricians, obstetricians/gynecologists, and surgeons with an on-site affiliation with psychologists, dentists, and podiatrists as well as an on-site pharmacy from 1989 to 1999 after which he downsized his practice to a solo primary care practice. Gboyega was also the President/CEO of Loss Prevention Resources, Inc., a consulting firm of occupational medicine specialists, industrial hygienists, toxicologists, safety professionals and behavioral scientists, offering services to Fortune 50 companies in the United  States of America from 1989 to 2023.  Dr Osinbowale was also involved in his local community where he served as the President of the Nigerian Community in Ohio as well as a founding member and President of the Africa Foundation-USA, a global 501(c)3 non-profit organization which he ran for many years. He was a founding member of the Association of Nigerian Physicians and Dentists in the Americas (ANPA) and served as the Chairman of the Association’s Advocacy Committee for about 15 years until 2022, representing ANPA in Nigeria during ANPA’s annual medical missions and other professional/technical assignments as well as in the United States of America.

As a founding member of Ibadan Grammar School Old Students’ Association, North America, Inc (IGSOSANA), he served that Institution as President for six years (2009-2015) and was instrumental in the decision to make the organization a non-profit 501(c)3 entity to facilitate its growth and expand its financial buoyancy and ability to meet its laudable goals. Gboyega is also a member of many professional associations including the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) among others. He is happily married with adult children (who are also professionals) and grandchildren.
