Programs & Initiatives
YENDOW envisions a future where every IGS youth can achieve their full potential and work towards a prosperous and stable Nigeria.
The components of YENDOW are five-fold:
- Improving literacy, educational standards, and instructional methodologies
- Igniting passion and innovation in IGS youths through STEM programs
- Enhancing Languarge Arts and developing articulate young Mountaineers
- Helping IGS students to become responsible citizens and take charge of their own destiny through leadership training programs including social skills development
- Enabling IGS youths to create healthier/higher qualities of life and wealth for themselves as a conduit of ending poverty
In order to be successful, this project entails continuous interventions within Ibadan Grammar School. The YENDOW team will work closely with the school and other educational authorities.
The Executive Management Team that runs YENDOW operates through a full-time country-based Project Manager and other support staff and old students that are local to Ibadan and surrounding areas. The Project Manager provides the stakeholders with quarterly Monitoring & Evaluation Reports.
