What We Do
YENDOW envisions a future where every Nigerian youth can achieve their full potential and work towards a prosperous and stable Nigeria.
The components of YENDOW are three-fold:
- Improving literacy, educational standards, and attainments by modernizing curriculum development and instructional methodologies
- Helping young people to become responsible citizens and take charge of their own destiny through leadership training programs including social skills development
- Enabling youths to create healthier/higher qualities of life and wealth for themselves as a conduit of ending poverty
In order to be successful, this project entails continuous interventions within secondary (high) schools in Ibadan city as YENDOW develops a permanent local team to work with the faculty of each participating school or educational establishment. The YENDOW team works closely with local institutions and educational authorities, having sold them the vision, and obtained their approval and support.
IgsosaNA-FED, the body which manages the endowment, operates through a full-time country-based YENDOW Project Manager and other support staff. The Project Manager provides the stakeholders with quarterly Monitoring & Evaluation Reports.
